This leadership position will provide delivery, business development, and client relationship management for one or more of ActioNet’s Health Services federal government clients or target clients within the Defense Health Community.
The individual will be responsible for account ownership, including quality delivery and account growth within an existing or new prospective client, and provide internal thought leadership to better position ActioNet within the Defense Health market.
The expectation is that these responsibilities will be accomplished via a combination of direct delivery and indirect support to become a trusted advisor to key executive leaders in the client organization(s). This includes understanding their key business initiatives, IT processes, maintaining and establishing business relationships with key stakeholders including decision-makers, identifying and qualifying business opportunities, and with emphasis on positioning ActioNet for bidding, developing, and tracking a pipeline of prospective sales prospects.
The individual must be able to effectively function as a leader, business development catalyst, implementer, and tactician, all within an entrepreneurial, team environment. The individual must be able to develop and mentor team members.
The individual will interact daily with the Senior Management Team on matters relating to strategy, operations, finance and human resources.

•Significant experience in writing capabilities statements & white papers, technical writing, and award winning proposal writing
•Proficient in MS Office applications and MS Outlook E mail
•Must be a self-starter, detail oriented and have excellent organization skills
•Excellent presentation skills and client presence
•Has or able to obtain security clearance of secret or better
•Must have strong written and verbal communication skills; effectively communicates strategic messages to target audiences
•Required Experience -10+ years of experience in an IT consulting environment -4+ years of US Federal agency bid and proposal capture manager expertise
•Prior experience within a technology organization required; specifically project management, custom application development, systems integration or IT strategy
•Proven ability to develop and maintain business relationships to ensure further penetration and revenue growth within a customer in existing and new areas of the organization
•Demonstrated ability to understand the existing and emerging markets within the Federal Government and translate these needs into viable offerings for the company
•Understanding of the Federal Defense Health IT Market, contracting methods (including GWACs), and proposal processes
•Must have experience conducting interviews with client representatives to gather requirements and document client needs, and performing detailed analysis of complex business processes and proposing solutions that demonstrate a thorough understanding of technical solution delivery
•Must be able to perform and lead all job functions related to Bids and Proposals
•BA or BS degree
