Job Responsibilities
A Senior Office 365 Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining and supporting all components of the enterprise Office 365 systems and associated infrastructure, including all related applications, servers and services.   Individuals in this position will need to maintain a high level of ownership and investment in tasks associated with both new and ongoing SharePoint-based needs within the IT environment.  Incumbents must be able to lead efforts in troubleshooting, remediating and optimizing any and all Office 365-based issues, while also working with customer requirements and providing educated recommendations to management.  We are urgently seeking a candidate to assist with the migration of on-premises system solutions to Office 365 equivalent solutions, while consolidating and optimizing the environment as a whole.
Office 365 Engineers are expected to be able to implement and administer the following systems:
•Exchange Online, including an on-premises Hybrid Configuration
•SharePoint Online, including Office Online and an on-premises Hybrid Configuration
•Skype for Business Online, including an on-premises Hybrid Configuration
•Azure Active Directory, Azure Rights Management Services, and Information Rights Management
•Enterprise Mobility & Security solutions, including InTune, Azure AD Premium, Azure Information Protection, Advanced Threat Analytics and Protection.
Skills Required

•5+ years of senior-level (tier 3) administration experience in an enterprise IT environment, having performed operational and break/fix activity. 
•2+ years of developing information system design, governance, process, procedure and education documentation.
•Moderate experience with the administration of Microsoft Exchange, including 2003, 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016, or Online versions.
•Moderate experience with the administration of Microsoft SharePoint, including 2010, 2013, 2014, or Online versions
•Moderate experience with the administration of Microsoft Skype for Business/Lync, including 2010, 2013, 2015, or Online versions.
•Expertise with implementing and supporting OneDrive for Business, as part of the Office 365 SharePoint Online experience.
•Knowledgeability of the implementation and support of the web-based Office Online applications, including Word Online, Excel Online, PowerPoint Online, OneNote Online, and Delve.
•Knowledgeability of implementing and managing Azure Rights Management Services and Information Rights Management policies.
•Extensive experience with the design and implementation of IT projects and major efforts, to include documentation, communication, and coordination of all components.
•Expertise with professionally coordinating and assisting customer support (tier-1 or tier-2) personnel with SharePoint-related incidents and tasks.
•Ability to coordinate with first- and third-party software vendors as needed for resolution of business-impacting problems.
•Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret level Security Clearance
Skills Preferred
•1+ year of experience migrating user content to SharePoint Online with common industry tools and procedures.
•1+ years of experience migrating mailbox content to Exchange Online with common industry tools and procedures.
•1+ years of experience migrating user clients to Skype for Business Online with common industry tools and procedures.
•Extensive knowledge and understanding of the Microsoft Office 365 suite of applications and solutions, and how they interoperate, integrate, and complement each other.
•Experience working with the U.S. government, either Federal, State or Local.
•Capability with the design and recommendation of highly available and resilient disaster recovery and continuity of operations scenarios.
•Familiarity working within a Microsoft Active Directory-based enterprise environment including regulated security baselines and protections.
•Intermediate experience with administration of Microsoft Active Directory Federation Services in support of Microsoft Office 365.
•Novice or greater capability with administration of Microsoft Azure Active Directory Connect (previously known as Azure AD Sync, or DirSync), in support of Microsoft Office 365.
•Novice level knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including versions 2008 R2, 2012, 2014 or 2016.
•Expertise of management within a Microsoft Windows Server environment with Windows Server 2012/2008/2008 R2/2003.
•Intermediate understanding of networking, including routing and switching, firewalls and rulesets, Virtual Local Area Networks (VLANs), TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS.
•Intermediate experience with administration of Microsoft Active Directory Federation Services in support of Microsoft Office 365.
•Some experience working with network load-balancing (NLB) systems (in support of messaging) such as F5 BIG-IP, F5 Global Traffic Manager, Brocade NLB, KEMP Load Balancers or Microsoft NLB.
•Knowledgeability with message backup technology such as Tivoli Storage Manager, Veeam for Exchange, or Symantec Backup Exec.
•Familiarity with virtualization technology such as VMWare or Microsoft Hyper-V and working within a virtualized server environment.
